Cloning

Hi 4 Faith,

I'm currently at a workshop on blogging and the task assigned to me is to give my opinion on Cloning. Well, I'm not so sure about what cloning is and I thought I would look it up on Wikipedia for some info. I found this, "Cloning is the process of creating an identical copy of something." It is taken from http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cloning

Hmm... Thinking about it, I remember hearing something about the cloning of a sheep. Have you heard of Dolly the Sheep? Take a look at this http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dolly_the_sheep

What do you think? Would you want a clone of yourself? A person who looks exactly like you? Maybe sound exactly like you too? Hmm... Post your thoughts as comments to this entry, ok? Hope to hear from you soon :-)

Ms Teo

    Hi Yan Chun,

I'm a CL teacher from Jurong Primary School. :)

It's really cool to know that you've started to integrate blogging into your teaching already. May I know if your kids really do go to this blog and will they do the assignments that you list here? This is actually one concern I have.

Well anyway, I don't know much about cloning either but I strongly disagree with it. It goes against nature and the original plan of creation by God. I wouldn't dare dream of a day when there would be two of ME. *haha*

    Hi Rosalind,

I use this blog to share with my class the websites I show them in class as well as some interesting weblinks that I would like them to explore. Some of the pupils visit the blog and explore the links given. Not all the pupils are able to do so at home as some of them do not have PC/internet access. Thus, to solve this problem, the class gets to visit the blog when we go to the computer lab for lessons.

    Hope this helps :-)
